Granny Squares!

I'm a granny so I can... I can have a granny square afghan, rock in a rocker for hours holding a baby, tell the same story over and over and over and over. Did I mention I can have a granny square afghan, rock in a rokcer for hours, and... oh wait.

My Candice made this granny square afghan for me and I positively love it. It goes on the back of the green sofa in the rec room. Fabulous!

Here's another one (not mine). I like the white ground as well, and I'd love to see one that's done entirely in taupes or other tonal colorations.

BLOWN AWAY light fixture

A blowdry bar! This has to be one of the most unique light fixtures I've seen. It's right up there with the life-size horse floor lamp. Wouldn't it be cute in a teen girl's bathroom?

Sunday Morning AHHHHHHs

I simply LOVE Sunday mornings! Sleeping in til 6 or 7- ahh, the smell of coffee brewing, bacon sizzling, and biscuits baking- ahhhhh; the sounds of the family getting ready for church- ahhhh, and knowing that I'll take a little nap in the afteroon on the world's most comfy and cozy sofa- ahhhhhh! All of that nice little package wrapped up with the gloriously gorgeous bow of playing with the Tweedle and I must say again AHHHHH!
